hello friend layout | kaisercraft DT

Hi there
Today I'm sharing a layout using the wild flower collection
Using the specialty paper and some colour blast shimmer dusts

I trimmed the specialty paper down to add patterned paper behind to add more colour
I was thinking I wanted to use pendant shape layering under my photo layers
So after doing my background and waiting for it to dry
I started cutting out my pendant shapes and then I machine stitched all around the edges

Then I cut some smaller bits of patterned papers to go behind my photo
Then I added my background to the patterned paper and machine stitched around the edge
Then I started glueing my layers together and add my photo than added some die cuts from the collectables

To add more texture and dimension I stamped on vellum
and embossed it with white zing embossing powder and tucked it in my die cuts

I used a die cut for my title and added some more embossing and diecuts

hello gorgeous kitty layout | kaisercraft DT

Hi there,
Sharing a layout created for kaisercraft using the wild flower collection and template/stencil
I do take a lot of photos of my boy as we seem to spend a lot of time together
He comes into my craft room and either sleeps on his chair or flops on the floor and rolls on his back and snores

I started with my white cardstock and applied impasto and shimmer dust from colour blast
And mixed them together to get the pastel colours
Then built my layout to the design I had in mind..

unicorn cards | Doodlebug Design DT

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing a cute couple of cards using the new cut files
I have to say these unicorns are just simply cuteness I absolutely adore them..
When I seen all the bits I needed to cut out I was like wow.....

So I thought I would add a little photo step by step to show you it's not that daunting to do.
Start by cutting all the bits out using your cutter
I used the pastel assortment cardstock and coloured all the file bits the same colour as my cardstock

Starting with the grey base of the unicorn
Add the tail a bits and hair and horn at the top

Add more hair then the white base of the unicorn and the last bit of purple hair

Add the black oval over the backside of the head

Than add it over the blank face spot

Add the rest of hair and ear and little pink cheeks
The little hoofs and the heart

Now the little unicorn is ready to decorate a card
I made 2 unicorns for 2 cards they are just the cutest don't ya think !!

These would make a perfect gift card for those little girls birthday parties

I hope I've inspired you to have a play around with theses cute cut files..

Hey Sugar layout | Shop and Crop DT

Hi there,
Today I wanted to share a layout I created using the pink paislee oh my heart collection
Its the cropaholic kit for this month and it's absolutely lovely
And new cut files in my store today
I was totally excited to try something a little different with the patterned papers using one of the patterned papers that had a unique quarted design

I been seeing lots of people use a pink background and thought I would give it a try
And as there is a lot of pink on this layout I wanted it to be spread out a bit so it would blend

So I done a process video so you can see just how I created this layout

Here is a close up look at my fur baby enjoying his favourite cow skin rug

You can find my cut file here in my Etsy shop

I hope you have enjoyed my inspiration today
Don't forget to pop on over and check out the kits this month

Now is the new later layout | shop and crop DT

Hi there ,
I'm sharing another lovely layout using the beautiful collection from

With this layout I thought I would use green in the mix with the pink as I just didn't want it to be just all pink
I used a photo of my fur baby kush ...yep he's a boy..but pink is so much cuter don't ya think
The story behind this photo was very important to me and I felt like it should be documented
Last yeah at the end of November my little buddy had a stroke and he went blind and every day since had been a learning experience for him and for him to start feeling like himself again has been one of the most important things that has happened in the last month..
He came into my scrap studio and meows at me to day hello I give him a pat and some love he flops down on the floor rolling on to his back in his own comfy way falls asleep with his mouth open and starts to snore...and I was like wow I have my little buddy back.. it's been a long 3 months waiting for that time to come that he just felt comfortable enough to just lay on the floor and not care about the sounds going on around him...

So when I started this layout it was just the white cardstock and the pink and floral flowers I cut
I have a thing for circles at the moment..I wanted them to meet in the middle and tuck underneath the photo
It was very plan looking so I decided to trim down the sided a bit and add the green patterned paper behind

I was also thinking it now needs more embellishments along that green edges
So I used some of the little circles and some washi from the sticker book and some of those fabulous foiled stickers

I added a few die cuts from the ephemera pack to add on top of the circles

I used a die cut for my title

I also added some little bows I made from the patterned papers

And lastly I added a few flicks of black mist to add a extra bit of texture to the background

I hope you have enjoyed my layout inspiration this week

in Bloom layout | cratepaper

Hi there,
Today I joined in on a spring crop paper issues was having...
I used one of their sketch challenges to play with some old product I had in my stash
I have to say I'm a white space girl when it comes to backgrounds but I have been really trying to just push my self out of that comfort zone and try to use patterned paper as backgrounds for my layouts

So I chose to use the wood grain dark brown background as my photo was green and bright pink
And the thickers from my stash are bright pink glitter the perfect colour to go with my photo

I chose the blue patterned paper as the leaves in the photo green/blue
I found some phrase stickers from another crate paper collection

I layered other patterned paper behind my. Photo and then used one of my cut files and backed it with more patterned papers from the on trend collection
Added some sparkles in the centres and a few sequins and flicks of white mist

crazy fun layout

Hi there,
Tonight I sat down at my desk thinking I really wanted to just use up some stash I had
Been keeping for some scrappy fun and I really wanted to pay with a few new cuts I designed
I absolutely love drawing flowers and I thought pink and yellow would be a perfect colour combo to use

I used a 6x6 patterned paper pad from pink fresh studio indigo hills
And the sticky notes at the top of my layout I thought it would make a great effect
A scallop edge

I used the ephemera pack and icon stickers to add embellishments to my layout along with some of the patterned papers behind my photo I use my cut files to decorate the layout backing them with pink and yellow from the patterned paper pad

For extra dimension I added pop dots to the back of the flowers
I used a die cut as my title and a sticker underneath it

Here is a closer look at the flowers

And to finish off the layout I flicked some black mist in 2 corners of my layout

its a cat thing layout | kaisercraft DT

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing a layout using the fun pet collection pawfect
I thought this photo was funny anytime I get new product I put the empty boxes on the floor and kush loves to sleep in them ..I guess all cats do that.. ball of fur in a box

I used one of my cut files for this layout but instead of using the floral kitty I used the negative of the cut to add patterned paper behind it and layered kitty's along the bottom of it
I machine stitched around it to give it a bit of texture

I used die cuts at the top left hand corner along with stripes of patterned paper and a wood flourish

I added die cuts in the centre of the cut out kitty

Here is a close up of my photo
I used a sticker for my title
